Theme: Inspiring Future Leaders to Leave a Legacy of Excellence
Eastern Washington University and Boise State University are excited to co-host this year’s Beta Alpha Psi 2019 Northwest Regional Meeting in Spokane, the Lilac City. Our Beta Alpha Psi chapter advocate, chapter advisors, and professional partners are enthusiastic about planning this conference on your behalf so that you can we can all learn from each other and enjoy our time in Spokane’s beautiful Davenport Grand Hotel.
As reflected in this year’s theme, we aim to help inspire you as future leaders to leave a legacy of excellence. The Regional Meeting will afford you a valuable opportunity to represent your Beta Alpha Psi chapter and expand your professional knowledge, skills, and connections. BAP officers and member attendees we look forward to learning from you when you share your BAP chapter experiences by presenting in the Best Practices Competition or one of the Chapter Operations sessions. Best Practices winners get the opportunity to present at the National conference. Monetary prizes are awarded to the chapters for the top three presentations.
The Best Practices competition sponsored by Deloitte is an excellent way to display and develop your professional skills. The deadline to submit these abstracts is Friday, January 25th, 2019 by 4 PM CST.
For chapters who wish to present in Chapter Operations: Chapter Operations Abstract Form. The due date is February 27, 2019. Note that the Operations sessions are not judged.
Chapter Operations Topics:
- Continuing the Legacy: Officer Transitions and Succession Planning
- More Than Just Professional Relationships: Peer-to-Peer Networking and Outreach
- Chapter Expansion: Increasing the Involvement of ITM/MIS and Finance Majors
- Wild card
This is a professional conference, so students are expected to attend a session in each scheduled time slot. On the other hand, there will also be plenty of time to enjoy networking with other Beta Alpha Psi members, university faculty, and professional partners from throughout the Northwest region. Enjoy Friday evening and other free time to explore everything Spokane has to offer.
We will be collecting school pennants at the regional meetings to create a wall of schools at the 2019 Annual Meeting. There will be a drop-off box at registration.
Don’t let this great development opportunity pass you by!

Once completed, all canvases will be donated to hospitals.
