Hi everyone,

We hope you all are enjoying your summer. Please read this entire e-mail and note the following:

1. Hotel Room Block – We were notified by the Marriott Anaheim that the hotel is completely sold out of rooms for Friday, August 8th.
   • If you have not reserved a room yet, please call the hotel periodically for any possible cancellations. Otherwise, you can refer to the attached link for other hotel possibilities in Anaheim. http://anaheim.hotelguide.net/hl1cc.htm
   • If your chapter is holding rooms that it won’t be using, please release them so that others will have a chance to stay at the Marriott.

2. Exhibiting at the BAP Annual Conference
   • If your university has a graduate program(s) that it would like to exhibit at the BAP Annual Conference, we have tables available for a $350 fee.

4. Notice to all chapters with receipts lower than $25,000.
   • Beta Alpha Psi chapters whose gross receipts are normally $25,000 or less must file Form 990-N, also known as the e-Postcard. Originally, we did not believe that this was required. If your chapter did not submit form 990, you are required to file 990-N.
   • You will need to file this by is September 15th, 2008.
   • How To File:
     • Click the attached link http://www.irs.gov/charities/article/0,,id=169250,00.html . You will need your chapter tax identification number. When you access the system, you will leave the IRS site and file the e-Postcard with the IRS through their partner, Urban Institute. The form must be completed and filed electronically. There is no paper form. Please keep your login information for use in future years.
     • You will receive a confirmation that the form has been received. Please forward it to the Executive Office.
