Our Chapter Advocates

Chapter advocates ensure member voices are heard.

There are seven chapter advocates (CAs) who serve on the Chapter Advocacy Council (CAC). Each CA is an advocate for an assigned region or regions for three years. Each year, 3rd year CAs rotate off the CAC and rotate onto the board of directors.

The CAs' primary responsibilities are to attend and coordinate specified regional meetings and to attend all board and chapter advocate meetings, where the CA serves as the voice of the chapters. They also support faculty advisors and offer assistance/encouragement to chapters with special circumstances, such as chapters on probation, petitioning chapters, and chapters in danger of going on probation.

Hear what our Professional Partners think about BAP!

Beta Alpha Psi students are the future leaders of the profession, and their involvement with the organization demonstrates their dedication to excellence. The Illinois CPA Society has many student ambassadors who are also involved with BAP, and we value the opportunity to collaborate to share important resources and support more students throughout their journey to becoming a CPA.
