Code of Conduct

By registering, all AAA/BAP event attendees agree to abide by the Beta Alpha Psi Event Code of Conduct and the AAA Event Code of Professional Conduct.

Registration is a Two-Step Process

Step One: Create an AAA User Account

  • Create an Account: If you don't already have an AAA User Account, click here to sign up for a free account on the AAA website.
  • Fill in Your Information: When prompted, make sure to include your school or company name in the “Organization Name” field. This is important as your organization’s name will appear on your name badge at the event.
  • Save Your Login Details: After creating your account, note your AAA Account User ID and password. You will use these credentials to register for the meeting and access the 2025 BAP Midyear Meeting App.

Step Two: Complete Your Registration

  • Log Out and Return: After creating your account, log out of your AAA account. Then, return to this page to continue with your event registration.
  • Register Students (If Applicable): If you are a faculty advisor, you can register your student(s) after the individual student has created their own free AAA account.
  • Need Assistance with Payment or Group Registration? If you have trouble paying via credit card or need help with group registration reimbursement, please contact us.

Dress Code

  • Friday - BAP or School Swag.
  • Saturday - Business casual (including presenters for Best Practices and Chapter Operations). 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made prior to January 11, 2025 will be refunded. Cancellations received after this date and no-shows will not be refunded. If you encounter an emergency, please contact the conference planner and the request will be forwarded to the Executive Director for refund request review.

Booking Deadline (Cut-Off Date) - Extended to Friday, December 27th, 2024.

In order to assign specific room types to your attendees, each sleeping room in your Room Block must be confirmed in the manner described below no later than December 27, 2024 .  Confirmation of rooms after the Cut-Off Date will only be accepted based on availability of contracted room type(s) and at the Hotel’s prevailing rates.

To ensure accurate registration by school and chapter affiliation, please follow these booking instructions carefully, as the name in which you are registered will be linked to various meeting functions, including meeting registration, session updates and payments.

Booking Instructions Using Block Code 

  1. Click here and choose your selected dates
  2. Before searching, under the drop down menu where it says "Rate Preferences,” Choose the option for Group Rate. 
  3. Enter the Group Code: ALP
  4. You are all set to proceed with your reservation

  2. After opening the link, you should arrive on the hotel's main page. After choosing the correct dates, you will see your special group rate

Booking Instructions by Phone 

  1. Call the hotel 404-877-9000
  2. Ask to speak with a reservation’s agent
  3. Provide the booking agent your stay dates and the name of the block or the group block code: ALP

Taxes

Currently the sales tax rate is 8.9%, and the hotel occupancy tax rate is 8%+ $5.00 State of Georgia Hotel Motel fee.  

Check-In/Out Time

Check-in time is 4:00 PM, check-out time is 11:00 AM. All guests arriving before 4:00 PM will be accommodated as rooms become available. The hotel’s front desk staff can arrange to check baggage for those arriving early when rooms are unavailable and for guests attending functions on departure day.

Parking

Hotel offers Discounted Valet Parking for $40 per vehicle, per night. Valet parking includes in/out privileges. Self-parking is also available for $18 per vehicle (up to 12 hours), then rate becomes the overnight rate of $36.  Self-parking does not have in/out privileges.

Transportation

Distance from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport is 12 miles, approximately 30 minutes. Estimated cab/Uber fare is $30-55.

We’re excited to invite our Professional Partners or Beta Alpha Psi Aluimni to participate in our Becoming a Professional podcast recordings during the upcoming Beta Alpha Psi Mid-Year Meetings. Last year’s episodes were a huge success, and we’d love to build on that momentum by featuring new perspectives and welcoming back returning guests.

Each episode is recorded on-site in video format and lasts no more than an hour. If you prefer to focus on a new topic or angle, we’re happy to adjust the discussion questions. An outline will be provided ahead of time to ensure you’re fully prepared.

  • Chapter Reporting Success – Tips to stay on how to stay on top of required chapter reporting
  • We are workforce ready!  Implementing Essential Skills into your chapter’s programs
  • Strengthening External Partnerships - Working with State Societies, Professional Organizations or local community service orgs
  • Multi-chapter events (could be co-presented by 2 or more chapters)

Best Practices are activities created by a chapter to advance specific goals set by the Beta Alpha Psi Board of Directors and Deloitte LLP, embodying the spirit and mission of Beta Alpha Psi. These projects also serve as models for other chapters.

Join us in supporting Path to Shine by donating a children’s book and brightening a child's future.

We invite you to donate a children’s book (in any language) to support Path to Shine, led by Executive Director Chris Ferguson, a proud alumni of the Beta Mu Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi at Georgia State University. Path to Shine aims to inspire children to achieve hope-filled dreams by providing free mentoring, tutoring, and life enrichment. Currently, they serve over 70 children each week at 7 locations across Georgia, with the help of 60 dedicated volunteer mentors. All services are offered at no cost to the children and their families. Join us in opening doors to opportunity, one book at a time!

Centennial Olympic Park

Built for the 1996 Summer Olympics, this urban park is now a gathering spot for festivals and events. The Fountain of Rings and the city skyline make for great photo ops.

Georgia Aquarium

Once the world’s largest aquarium, it’s home to whale sharks, beluga whales, and more. People love snapping photos by the massive viewing windows.

World of Coca-Cola

Celebrate Atlanta’s ties to this iconic brand with photos of Coca-Cola memorabilia and the giant Coca-Cola sign.

Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park

This powerful site includes Dr. King’s birth home and Ebenezer Baptist Church. It’s both a meaningful and historically significant location.

Piedmont Park

This sprawling city park offers beautiful green space, lake views, and the Atlanta skyline in the background—perfect for an outdoor challenge.

The Atlanta BeltLine

The Eastside Trail is known for its vibrant street art, sculptures, and murals. Tagging murals and art installations could create a visually exciting feed.

Fox Theatre

Famous for its Moorish design and ornate interior, the Fox Theatre is a classic Atlanta landmark.

Ponce City Market

Located in a historic Sears building, PCM hosts shops, restaurants, and a rooftop amusement area.

Jackson Street Bridge

Krog Street Tunnel

A hidden gem for street art lovers, this tunnel is constantly changing with new graffiti and murals.
