Mid-Year Meeting Registration

Meeting locations are expected to sell out, so please register early. Do not wait until the last minute to register.

Code of Conduct

By registering, all AAA/BAP event attendees agree to abide by the Beta Alpha Psi Event Code of Conduct and the AAA Event Code of Professional Conduct.

Registration is a Two-Step Process

Step One: Create an AAA User Account

  • Create an Account: If you don't already have an AAA User Account, click here to sign up for a free account on the AAA website.
  • Fill in Your Information: When prompted, make sure to include your school or company name in the “Organization Name” field. This is important as your organization’s name will appear on your name badge at the event.
  • Save Your Login Details: After creating your account, note your AAA Account User ID and password. You will use these credentials to register for the meeting and access the 2025 BAP Midyear Meeting App.

Step Two: Complete Your Registration

  • Log Out and Return: After creating your account, log out of your AAA account. Then, return to this page to continue with your event registration.
  • Register Students (If Applicable): If you are a faculty advisor, you can register your student(s) after the individual student has created their own free AAA account.
  • Need Assistance with Payment or Group Registration? If you have trouble paying via credit card or need help with group registration reimbursement, please contact us.

Dress Code

  • Friday  BAP or School Swag.
  • Saturday  Business casual (including presenters for Best Practices and Chapter Operations). 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made prior to January 25, 2025 will be refunded. Cancellations received after this date and no-shows will not be refunded. If you encounter an emergency, please contact the conference planner and the request will be forwarded to the Executive Director for refund request review.

A limited number of rooms have been reserved at the conference rate. PLEASE make your reservations as early as possible to take advantage of this special room rate. Please note: we cannot guarantee that any additional rooms will be available in the hotel once our block of rooms is sold out, even if the block is sold out before the cutoff date. Reservation requests after the Reservation Cutoff Date should be made by calling the Hotel directly at 303-297-1300 and will be subject to rate and space availability.

To ensure accurate registration by school and chapter affiliation, please follow these booking instructions carefully, as the name in which you are registered will be linked to various meeting functions, including meeting registration, session updates and payments.

Taxes

The hotel tax rate is state 8% and hotel tax 15.75%.

Check-In/Out Time

Check-in time is 4:00 PM, check-out time is 11:00 AM. All guests arriving before 4:00 PM will be accommodated as rooms become available. The hotel’s front desk staff can arrange to check baggage for those arriving early when rooms are unavailable and for guests attending functions on departure day.

Parking

The Hilton Denver City Center provides valet parking only, with a nightly rate of $64. This includes in-and-out privileges for guests. Self-parking and electric vehicle charging options are not available on-site. Other parking options are available.

Transportation

From the Denver International Airport the distance is 23 miles, approximately 32 minutes. Estimated cab/Uber fare is $40-60.

Last year’s episodes were a huge success, and we’d love to build on that momentum by featuring new perspectives and welcoming back returning guests.

Each episode is recorded on-site in video format and lasts no more than an hour. If you prefer to focus on a new topic or angle, we’re happy to adjust the discussion questions. An outline will be provided ahead of time to ensure you’re fully prepared.

  • Chapter Reporting Success – Tips to stay on how to stay on top of required chapter reporting
  • We are workforce ready!  Implementing Essential Skills into your chapter’s programs
  • Strengthening External Partnerships - Working with State Societies, Professional Organizations or local community service orgs
  • Multi-chapter events (could be co-presented by 2 or more chapters)
  • Building Relationships:
    • Option 1 - Candidates, Members and Alumni
    • Option 2-  Outreach to high school and community college students
  • Embracing Technology for Enhanced Efficiency – How technology has improved or transformed our chapter operations, reporting, or service activities.

Best Practices are activities created by a chapter to advance specific goals set by the Beta Alpha Psi Board of Directors and Deloitte LLP, embodying the spirit and mission of Beta Alpha Psi. These projects also serve as models for other chapters.

Dr. Kimberlee Ann Brannock, CGRCM-IT, CISA, CSOXM, JD, PMP
Distinguished Technologist and Cyber Security Strategist

HP

Dr. Brannock leads strategy initiatives driving cyber security, privacy, cyber security governance, risk, compliance, better understanding and adherence to cyber law, information security, cyber security services, processes, and procedures while educating on cyber security.

Dr. Brannock strategically drives and shapes HP’s Professional Services, HP’s WW Security and Analytics Practice and HP’s cyber security leadership position.

Dr. Brannock’s current responsibilities also include senior technology leadership, strategic technology plans, product and technology strategies and HP client and HP partner relationships.

Dr. Brannock holds degrees in accounting, corporate accounting, business, business administration, management information systems, a doctorate specializing in technology and jurisprudence where she received a distinguished scholar award, a Doctor of Science in Cyber Security where she was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi and the National Society of Leadership and Success, and was a PhD Candidate in Information Technology, Information Assurance and Cybersecurity where she was inducted into National Honor Society. Dr. Brannock’s educational background covers multiple disciplines and fields of interest including what is already mentioned along with endpoint security, IoT security, data science, cloud security, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, code security, cyber security workforce development, high performance computing and secure systems integration into a wide variety of entities and markets.

Dr. Brannock serves on security advisory boards including two+ years on the PCI Security Standards Council Board of Advisors, 3GO Security Advisory Board, College of Western Idaho Cyber Defense Center Advisory Board, CWI Technical Advisory Committee: Cybersecurity Program, Marymount University Industry Cybersecurity Advisory Board, INSITS committee member representing ANSI, the United States, HP, and ISO committee member representing INSITS, ANSI, HP,  and the United States.

 

Books of Hope: Inspiring the Future

Join us in supporting Colorado Coalition for the Homeless by donating a children’s book and brightening a child's future.

Attendees are encouraged to donate a children’s book (in any language) to benefit the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless. Dedicated to preventing homelessness and creating lasting solutions, the Coalition provides housing, healthcare, and essential services to over 22,000 individuals and families annually across Colorado. Recognized at both state and national levels, the organization takes a comprehensive approach to address the causes and consequences of homelessness, improving health, stability, and well-being for those in need. Join us in making an impact—one book at a time.
