"Beta Alpha Psi and the Zeta Sigma Chapter at North Carolina A&T have truly made an impact in my life. As a past chapter officer and a member for three years, I know what it takes to drive an organization as impactful as Beta Alpha Psi. I know so many people get sick and tired of me talking about Beta Alpha Psi, but I cannot help it. I have so much pride in this organization! The faculty advisor for the Zeta Sigma Chapter, Dr. Lisa Owens-Jackson, has truly taken this organization under her wing and she has changed the lives, in a positive way, of many of the students who join. She pushes us to become better students and future professionals. She implements the vision of BAP within our chapter: “shaping the financial and business information professions by developing members into ethical, professional, and confident leaders.” Without Beta Alpha Psi, I would not have learned what it took to be a leader of an organization that has made a positive impact within the campus community as well as the community around it. I gained experiences through Beta Alpha Psi that I would have never imagined. I am thankful to be a member of Beta Alpha Psi and the Zeta Sigma Chapter will always have my support, no matter how near or far my career takes me."
