Mid-Year Meeting Registration

Meeting locations are expected to sell out, so please register early.

By registering, all AAA/BAP event attendees agree to abide by the AAA Event Code of Professional Conduct and the Beta Alpha Psi Code of Ethics.

Registration is a Two-Step Process

Step One: Create an AAA User Account

  • Create an Account: If you don't already have an AAA User Account, click here to sign up for a free account on the AAA website.
  • Fill in Your Information: When prompted, make sure to include your school or company name in the “Organization Name” field. This is important as your organization’s name will appear on your name badge at the event.
  • Save Your Login Details: After creating your account, note your AAA Account User ID and password. You will use these credentials to register for the meeting and access the 2025 BAP Midyear Meeting App.

Step Two: Complete Your Registration

  • Log Out and Return: After creating your account, log out of your AAA account. Then, return to this page to continue with your event registration.
  • Register Students (If Applicable): If you are a faculty advisor, you can register your student(s) after the individual student has created their own free AAA account.
  • Need Assistance with Payment or Group Registration? If you have trouble paying via credit card or need help with group registration reimbursement, please contact us.

Dress Code

  • Friday - Business Casual.
  • Saturday - BAP Theme Day - Proudly wear your chapter’s BAP swag. If you are presenting, Business Professional attire is recommended.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made prior to February 8, 2025 will be refunded. Cancellations received after this date and no-shows will not be refunded. If you encounter an emergency, please contact the conference planner and the request will be forwarded to the Executive Director for refund request review.

Booking Deadline (Cut-Off Date)

In order to assign specific room types to your attendees, each sleeping room in your Room Block must be confirmed in the manner described below no later than January 30, 2025.  Confirmation of rooms after the Cut-Off Date will only be accepted based on availability of contracted room type(s) and at the Hotel’s prevailing rates.

To ensure accurate registration by school and chapter affiliation, please follow these booking instructions carefully, as the name in which you are registered will be linked to various meeting functions, including meeting registration, session updates and payments.

Taxes

Room rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes (currently 18.36%) in effect at the time of check-out.

Check-In/Out Time

Check-in time is 4:00 PM, check-out time is 11:00 AM. All guests arriving before 4:00 PM will be accommodated as rooms become available. The hotel’s front desk staff can arrange to check baggage for those arriving early when rooms are unavailable and for guests attending functions on departure day.

Parking

The Sheraton Dallas Hotel offers on-site parking for guests, with a daily rate of $23.

Transportation

From Dallas Love Field the distance is approximately 10 miles. Taxi/Uber fare is approximately $23-29 

From Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) International Airport the distance is approximately 18 miles. Taxi/Uber fare is approximately $45-55. DART Rail is also available from DFW.

Tom Walker

After graduating from Oklahoma State with a Bachelors in Finance and a Masters in Accounting (Tax Emphasis), Tom went to work full time in KPMG's Dallas office. Shortly after moving to the Dallas office, he transitioned into KPMG's high net worth individual practice. For the next 4+ years, Tom focused exclusively on financial planning for corporate executives and income and transfer tax for high net worth individuals. From 2001-2003, Tom worked in KPMG's International Tax and Legal Center in Amsterdam. During this time, his focus was on building a global network of practitioners to service KPMG’s ultra high net worth clients and on assisting the global risk group in conducting due diligence reviews on KPMG’s offices worldwide. 

Shortly after returning to the United States in late 2003, Tom joined the Jones family organization as the Tax Director for the Jones family and their business interests. In that role, he was responsible for all tax matters (income, payroll, property, transfer, etc) related to the family, the football team or any other business interest. As the Chief Financial Officer, Tom’s role has expanded to include investment analysis, operational tracking and general oversight on all investments and financial matters for the Jones family and their related business enterprises.

Tom and his wife Stephanie have been married since college and are the proud parents of 3 children - Stephen (2002), Nathaniel (2003) and Theodore (2007). Tom enjoys all types of sports activities with a special emphasis on soccer and of course football.
